    We will maintain a workplace free from bullying, harassment,

    • all employees feel psychologically safe to contribute 

    This includes: 

    • training all employees and managers on EDI principles
    • ensuring understanding of rights and responsibilities
    • promoting inclusive behaviours in both internal collaboration and external engagements

    All employees should understand that they, as well as Alertive Ltd, may be held liable for acts of discrimination, harassment or victimisation in the course of their employment. 

    Taking all complaints seriously 

    Alertive Ltd will take seriously all complaints of:

    • harassment
    • victimisation
    • unlawful discrimination 

    This applies to interactions involving 

    • employees
    • customers 
    • partners and suppliers
    • members of the public 

    Such behaviour will be addressed under formal disciplinary procedures and may constitute gross misconduct.

    We recognise that certain behaviours, including sexual harassment, may also constitute criminal offences under legislation such as the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

    We will:

    • support employees to reach their full potential
    • ensure fair and transparent decision-making processes

    All employment decisions will be based on merit, skills and performance, except where lawful and appropriate positive action is applied in line with the Equality Act.

    This Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy is fully supported by senior leadership at Alertive Ltd and forms part of our broader commitment to ethical, safe and effective workplace and product practices.

    4. Procedures

    Details of Alertive Ltd’s grievance and disciplinary procedures are available within internal HR documentation.

    Employees should raise concerns in the first instance with their line manager or an appropriate senior leader.

    Use of the organisation’s grievance or disciplinary procedures does not affect an employee’s right to make a claim to an employment tribunal within three months of the alleged discrimination.
