Alertive unveiled a new identity today, reflecting its evolution from a secure messaging and pager replacement solution into a broader platform supporting healthcare coordination and operational workflows.
The new identity will be introduced across Alertive’s platform, website and communications over the coming months, with in-app rollout expected to be complete by the end of summer.
Alertive began with real-time, secure communication designed around fast-moving healthcare environments. Since launching in Derby in 2020, the platform has grown to support more than 160,000 users across over 50 hospitals and 20 NHS trusts.
Working alongside healthcare organisations made it clear that the challenge extends beyond communication. Teams also need better visibility of people, roles and responsibilities to work as one effectively across services and organisations.
This has shaped Alertive’s evolution into a workforce orchestration platform, helping organisations work as one by understanding how work flows, improving operational visibility and reducing friction in day-to-day operations.

Healthcare is producing more data than ever before. Electronic patient records, diagnostics, monitoring platforms and operational systems all generate information intended to improve care. Healthcare technology has focused on these systems of record, but information alone does not create value. The question is what happens next: who sees it, who understands its urgency, and who takes action.
Alongside the visual relaunch, Alertive will introduce a number of new capabilities to the platform over the coming months. These include multi-organisation access, allowing users to be logged in to multiple organisations at the same time, broadcast alerts for communicating critical information quickly at scale, voice and video calling within the Alertive platform, and new workforce visibility features such as custom user status updates.
Alertive is also introducing Finder, a new feature that helps staff discover, manage and coordinate people and roles across their organisation. Finder will be showcased in a dedicated webinar on Friday 26 June at 3:00pm.
