Ward Walking Volunteers

From October 16th to November 5th, dedicated ward walking volunteers will be on-site, ready to assist you around the clock. Whether it's 7 AM or 3 AM, they're here to help. Look out for Alertive trainer t-shirts; these friendly faces are here to answer all your questions. There will also be an Alertive Floor Walker role within the application; you can contact this role should you require help.

What sort of messages should I send on Alertive?

You should use Alertive when you are sending a message related to patient care.

When will Bleeps & Microsoft be turned off?

Please continue to use bleeps and Microsoft Teams as you currently do. You will be informed when we plan to stop using these for messaging related to patient care.

Who should I contact if I have any questions?

There is a support role within the Alertive app you can contact to help with any queries or please email mark.rundle@wsh.nhs.uk if you have any questions.

Is the Alertive app integrated with e-Care?

The Alertive app isn't integrated with e-Care at the moment but there are plans to do so in the future.

Are there any training videos?

Yes, there are some generalised training videos by clicking the 'Alertive Support' tab under 'Resources' in the menu of this webpage, so you can start to familiarise yourself with the application.

Are there any other training materials?

Yes, visit the Alertive Hub on the intranet for user guides and more in-depth information. Grab leaflets for a quick overview and keep an eye out for posters.
